Hotel Pelicano de la Montana

This is the carving of the pelicano in the dining room of the hotel where we stayed. I'll try to post more carvings as there was a gallery of interesting carvings there all done by the same man.
This is the "casita"where we stayed. We said that next time we would get the whole house, not just the little house, but we did OK in this tiny place.
Sign over our door.
This is especially for Becky as it ends with "Pura Vida". This sign was out front where we parked by the hotel.
This is the hotel laundry drying on the line. Notice the thick plastic cover over top. This is absolutely necessary as it rained several times while we were there. I would suggest they get a dryer, but if this works, I guess they don't need a dryer.
Hotel swimming pool.
A couple other cabinas at the hotel. These were a little bit bigger than the casita where we stayed and notice one had a satellite dish on top so could get TV.
The casita where we stayed again, and to the left is the main building.
This is a corner of the main building during the rain storm. We sat on our little covered porch and read while it rained.
This little bird had taken refuge under the plastic cover for the laundry during the rainstorm.

Mom, you really are on a roll! Lots of great pictures. I love all the flowers and carvings, and the waterfall is beautiful!
