I did this story a while ago, but didn't ever mention it, and just remembered about it. Enjoy.

The locked cupboard

I'd like the Craig family input on this topic.

My siblings have been shooting email back-and-forth for the past day and I'd like to know how the Craig's feel...

Treat Her Right

Mr. T did a motivational video in the 80's called Be Somebody or Be Somebody's Fool. There was one segment about respecting your mother. Ladies and gentlemen, in honor of Mother's Day (I know I'm late) I give you, Mr. T.

Happy Birthday Truman and Jacob!

We hope you both have a very special day! We wish we could be there to celebrate with you, but we are very happy to have you as part of our family. We love you! Grandma and Grandpa Craig-

Cause She's the Best Mom Ever!

Happy Mother's Day!

Each and everyone of your six kids know(s) how lucky we are! We love you and are forever grateful for your love, sacrifice and dedication. And for all your motherly wisdoms! Here's a picture of a little tribute we made for you. It will take you back in time and bring a smile to your face. Everybody contributed. Click on the picture to read the sayings.

You did it mom! You were and are the best mom ever!

I had the pleasure of hanging out with you last month and noticed that you continue to say all these bits of motherly wisdom! The grandkids will certainly benefit from knowing not to "get their shirt tails tied in a knot!" and to "hold their horses."

We Love You!

Run for the Border!

For all you doubters out there, here's the information on crossing the border into Canada for this summer from the US Dept. of State. The part you're interested in says:

LAND AND SEA TRAVEL The following summarizes information available on the Department of Homeland Security’s website.
CURRENTLY: U.S. citizens need to present either (a) a passport, passport card (available in spring 2008), or WHTI-compliant document; or (b) a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, along with proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate.
LATER:On June 1, 2009, the U.S. government will implement the full requirements of the land and sea phase of WHTI. The proposed rules require most U.S. citizens entering the United States at sea or land ports of entry to have a passport, passport card, or WHTI-compliant document.

Also, the woman in my office in charge of passports said that when we make the actual drive across the border, it is important that all children are in the same car as both their parents, because they require consent of both parents to take a child over the border. So no riding with cousins at that particular point.

Feliz Cinco de Mayo!

Oh, and Happy Anniversary Nancy and Travis!

Family. Isn't it about...Time?

A BYU researcher did a study on child order in the family, and the TODAY show did a little piece on it. It's pretty interesting. What do think? Funny how they say it's the youngest who end up on TV. However, I defy them to say categorically that the eldest are necessarily more successful (like the author at the end says, it depends on how you define success). I'm glad we had such great parents who deliberately made time for all of us, even though I'm sure it wasn't easy.
