They fed a large piece of sugar cane through a roller powered by Madison and Savanna. The girls turned a couple of cranks and got a little cane juice in the pitcher on the other side of the rollers. Then they fed through the same piece of cane over again this time turning the screws to provide more pressure and this time powered by Laurie and Jacob. They had to work hard to get a little more juice out into the pitcher. Then they really turned up the pressure and fed through the same piece of cane this time powered by Richard and Austin. They had to put a lot of muscle behind those cranks and this time the pitcher was full of light green cane juice. They gave us each a little glass to sample. It was delicious! I guess this should be no surprize as it was pure fresh sugar juice! Smiles on everybodys'faces.

So did it have any particular flavor other than sweet?
I can't put a finger on any particular flavor, it was mild, just good and sweet. We all liked it.
