Birds at La Paz Waterfally Garden

Posted by PicasaI removed several blogs in which the pictures didn't take. Now I am trying over again. The computer won't let me put captions between the pictures, it just jumps to the bottom every time I try to type in anything. So I will try typing it all at the bottom! The first photo is a Toucan at the La Paz Waterfall Garden. People are allowed to go right into the Toucan enclosure and that was kind of fun. The second photo is of another type of Toucan, notice the different colored beak. The third photo is still another type of Toucan, smaller, green and with a different type of beak. The fourth one is of Jacob with one of the Toucans on his shoulder, a new friend! Then there are a couple of photos of Scarlet Macaws, both eating chunks of fresh coconut. They seemed to be enjoying the coconut and didn't offer to share. Next are a couple of close up shots of Humming birds. There were lots of Hummingbirds darting aroung their feeders. They seemed to like to light on this particular twig so I was able to get several still shots by focusing on the twig. They would just barely light there and then were off again. The last two were a couple of friends of the Hummingbirds who were sharing the feeders. They stayed still longer and were more willing to be photographed. All very pretty and interesting birds.
