The c0mputer is telling me that the battery is low and Laurie has the cable using it on a different computer, so this will have to be fast. The first 2 photos show you why this is called the cloud forrest. Then one of the hanging bridges. Some flowers we saw on our hike including a tiny orchid in the had of our guide and then the intricate passion flower and several others. The last photo is with the night tour guide of what looks like a hollow tree. What happens is that over the years strangler fig plants grow all around a tree. They meld together and squeeze the life out of the tree. The tree then dies and the fig vines are left with a hollow interior.Monday, April 2, 2012
