We're still here!
We've been busy but still made some time to have fun! We had a great Christmas and New Years. As you can see we kept with Craig family tradition and did fondue on New Years Eve! It was a hit.
I am getting ready to go to NY on Thursday! I will be representing our new Puj products at the NY International Gift Show! I will post pictures as soon as the products are available for sale. Wish me luck!
Christmas Day. Thanks to my friend Jennifer who passed along some "new to you" toys for a fun Christmas!
New Years Eve fondue!
Girls Weekend with Toria and Dianna! We had fun sewing and cooking together.
It finally snowed enough for the boys to build a sn0wman today!
Truman's favorite book
Puj prototyping in our kitchen. The garage was way too cold. Notice the table router on the floor. I purchased that bad boy for $4 at a garage sale. The man was asking $5 but I sweet talked him down!
The dremel in a sweet jig we rigged up. It held it at the perfect angle and gave us a straight edge!

Saturday Morning Tai Chi
Maybe you were addicted to Kung Fu reruns like I was in the 80s, so I thought I would share my delight with you at Emily's recent library find -- tai chi with David Caradine.
"'You sit by yourself grasshopper. What do you think of?' -Master Po
'My mother, my father. Both gone. I am alone.'
'You hear the flock of birds flying overhead? You hear the fish? The beetle?' To all of this the young Caine nods. 'In this crowded place you feel alone. Which of us is the most blind?"

this cake is courtesy of www.pinkcakebox.com
So I see that Angela has beat me to the punch! But I'm here to add my two cents, and a cake as well. Happy Birthday Mom and Becky! I couldn't have asked for a better mom and oldest sister in the whole wide world. It's almost like we planned it that way.
P.S. Angela want to take a cake decorating class with me when I move to Utah?
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday Mom and Becky!
And for your special day, a fancy Louis Vitton Purse birthday cake!

I GOT MY OLD JOB BACK!
Ya, you read that right! I got a call today from my old boss offering me my old job back. Actually it's better than my old job. I'll have a camera man and an editor, so I don't have to do all the grunt work. I'll get to write my stories and be in front of the camera, and I'll produce material that will air regularly! I'll keep you posted for when I'll be on, but if you want, I'll also be on the website, so you can watch me there!
Plus I got a raise.
I attribute this directly to the prayers of Mom and Dad. Thanks to the best parents ever.

Let it keep snowing, even if it is inconvenient!
Quite some time ago, around the Christmas holidays, I read in the paper that the snow pack in the mountains here along the Wasatch front was almost what they consider normal. For quite a few years, it has been below normal and we and the other western states have been experiencing drought conditions. Well it has snowed every other day since then and that was probably a month ago, so I am sure there is more snow in the mountains than is considered normal. This sounds good to me, maybe we will come out of the drought because of the more that usual amount of snow. Just hope it doesn't flood in the spring. And the same article said that in south eastern Utah there was already about 135 percent of the usual snow pack, and again it has continued to snow more. So I think that all of you in Arizona should be able to look forward to a little more water in Lake Powel this spring. Sounds logical to me with all the snow, but we will see what happens come spring. But then yesterday, I read in the latest National Geographic magazine that the west was drying out. Apparently the 1900s were an unusually wet hundred years and now we are heading into a dryer period that would last who knows how long. It will be interesting to see what happens. They had gleaned all this information about the past hundreds of years, some wet and some dry, from drilling cores from old tress they have found in various western states. It is good to know that Our Heavenly Father is really there watching over us, and that he is really in charge of what happens.

Two Item
First, an item of note to the family. It seems we may have inspired others to follow suit in keeping in touch for the twenty first century. Two of my roommates, Dave Smith and Dan Miller, have both instituted Family Blogs for their own clans, complete with clever names that only the family will get. I'd show you, but they've made it a private affair.
And second, a matter of business. Emily, I think you are the administrator on this blog, so I'll address you directly. Maybe it's the reporter in me, but I'd like to run analytics on our family blog to see who is reading, where from, and how often. Can you make me an administrator? Thanks.
That's all. Hope things are going well.

I'm in Business!

Family,Let's Re-Unite!
Since it is officially 08, we'd better start planning the Craig Family Reunion. It's an official "on" year. I have been dreaming and schemeing this afternoon. Here are some ideas. Mostly, this is just dreamin' but I do want to get your creative reunion juices flowing. Let's share some ideas and think big time family fun. I'm posting some Ideas. Please Post some of your own as well. Let's get a vacation debate going!
# 1 YellowStone
Pro's: close enough, inexpensive, beautiful, lots to see and lots for kids to do (just running around in the open wilderness is great for kids)
Con's: not exactly luxurious accommodations and I'm already going there this summer with the Bagley's reunion
# 2 Waterton
Pro's: awesome memories, awesome scenery, awesome legacy to pass down and familiarity
Con's: Canadian border issue and where would we stay? Prices? the us dollar?
# 3 Ventura California
Pro's: Beaches and shopping (for a "Nancy Style" vacation), my possible connection to a great place on the beach (virtually a private beach at that)
Con's: Possibly no connection at all
#4 Disney Cruise
Pro's: lap of luxury, awesome food & entertainment, built in child care activities
Con's: pretty penny, you're stuck on a boat
Here's to Dream Vacations! Let's plan a great family reunion. I look forward to you sharing your own ideas.
