Temple, Beach, Soccer, Egg Hunt + Mom & Dad

My good friends mother puts on the worlds BEST easter egg hunt every year, rain or shine. And we are blessed with an invitation to this easter egg hunt extraordinaire. They hide over 1,000 easter eggs and even have prizes for golden eggs. Their yard his a tiered hill of sorts and each age group gets their own tier. So no BIG kids stealing from the little guy. It works out quite nicely. The boys had a great time and even shared some eggs with their mommy.

Walker is playing soccer this spring. When I went to register him they were all full. Feeling quite bad about missing soccer I did what any mom would do, I created my own team and own league. That's right folks, I've learned to be proactive in my later years. And since I was forming the team I decided to nominate Ben as the coach. We practice once a week in the field next to Marilyn + Todd's house. There are 10 kids on the team and they are all loving it! My friend Brittany made them yellow jersies and they've named themselves the "Dragons!" (side note: coach Ben asked them what they wanted as their mascot. Seeing as it is a team of 4 + 5 year olds there were NO suggestions. So Ben said, "what about the Dragons!?" They all jumped and said, "Yeah, the Dragons" and cheered. This is how they got their name!)
Walker scored the first goal of the season. I think he's going to like soccer!
Conference weekend we enjoyed a sunny spring weekend. So we decided to take the boys to the temple after the Sunday session and talk to them about the temple. They really enjoyed it and we all did like Elder Bednar said and "touched" the temple.
You can't really see, but these are the humble beginnings of Puj. Maybe when we make it big I'll show you the rest of the pictures of where it all started.
Truman has a new smile these days. I call it the Pirate smile. As soon as you ask him to smile for a picture he smiles on half his face and squints his eye....like a pirate.
Grandma + Grandpa Craig came to visit! We enjoyed the fish hatchery, downtown Camas shopping, the Tulip festival (Nancy, you'll have to help mom upload these pictures, I didn't have my camera) the park + some veggie hummus wraps on some home-made whole wheat tortillas.
Did I mention I cut my hair. I couldn't stand my longish hair so I finally grabbed the scissors and just started cutting. When Ben saw what I was doing he said, "You're cutting your hair? Give me those scissors, you need to take more off than that!" And he started cutting too. So, my hair is shorter and MUCH more managable. I don't think I was meant to have long hair.
We will be blowing this one up and putting it in their room
This is a little beach that is 2 minutes from our house. It's one of our favorite last minute getaways.

Love all the pictures! Sorry we haven't postted the ones from the tulip festival. I have mentioned it to Laurie, but as of yet he hasn't had time. Hope all of you are still doing well. We had lots more rain here on the weekend, but today is sunny.

I don't think I'd ever look that cute if I took scissors to my own hair, especially if Travis helped! But you look awesome Kate, skinny and pretty and blonde, that's what I want to be someday! Anyway the boys are getting big, I can't wait to meet Sterling, he's gonna love me! And do the boys get to play anyone else in soccer or do they just play each other?
