Sights in the Orosi Valley

This was a ruin of a building that looked like it might have been a hotel at one time.
Coffee fields colorfully outlined with red leafed shrubs.
A picturesque church
A green footbridge used by pedestrians and bicycle riders.
The river below the footbridge.
Some of the houses along the road.
The ruins of the old Spanish Colonial Church in Ujurras. This was taken from the Mirrador Restaurant quite a ways away.
The Ujurras Valley with the Church Ruins showing on the right.
The valley with the fields outlined with fence trees. The Church is in the upper right corner.
This falls has a sad story to go with it, I guess it is the local Romeo and Julliette story. The bride and groom were on horseback on the way to their wedding. The bride wasn't holding on tight enough and fell over the falls as the horse jumped the cravass above, so the groom threw himself down the falls too. The waiter at the restaurant told us that more than 40 people have committed suicide on the same spot over the years. This was our view from the restaurant.
This was my dinner. A plato typico with rice, black beans, fried bananas, salad and fish. It was all very tasty.
And to top it all off, a fresh mango bebida! yummy! with the view in the back ground. It was dusk when we stopped here to eat so the pictures are a little hazy.
