This is the front of the Church owned home located about a 100 yards behind the Temple where the Kleins will spend the first couple of weeks if they are able to be here by the 1st of Novemeber.
This is the living room/dinning room of the Church owned home. Notice that it has cable TV and internet on the little desk between the table and the TV.
This is the kitchen of the Church owned home. Unfortunately, it does not have hot water in the kitchen (that is standard for older Costa Rican homes) but has a nice frige, stove, microwave, and all the small appliances and cooking/eating utensils you will need for the period you will be occupying the house.
This is the laundry room right off the kitchn of the Church owned home. It has an automatic washer and dryer. But again there is no hot water so the clothes have to be washed in cold water.
This is the bedroom. It has a double bed and closet. There are also lamps and bedside tables not shown. There are 2 other bedrooms, but they don't have any furniture, but bedding is provided for the one bed. Towels are also provided for the bathroom.
This is the bathroom sink. There is only one bath. There is no hot water at the sink but there is hot water in the shower.
This is the shower and toilet in the Church owned home. You will have all the hot water you need to shower.
This is the front gate to the Church owned home and a view of the neighborhood. The bars you see are typical for all housing in the neighborhood irrespective of whether homes are large or small. Someone told us that because there are very few policemen, that private citizens are expected to do more to provide for their own security. There does not seem to be a lot of neighborhood crime in the country, and perhaps it is because they do so much to provide for personal security.
